Alloy Hub Torque Setting

Hi Guys,

Whats the torque setting for the bolts to attach my alloy front hubs to the alloy bell (used with the AP Disk) and should I use Loctite?

For info the Bell to Disk is 14NM.

dont use loctite
its lets go with heat
best method i reckon is to
tighten bolts while hot to
corect tourqe setting for the size & grade of bolt
& if you want to do properly
drill the heads & lockwire them
ive heard all the crap about
if you tighten them properly
they SHOULDNT??? come undone
but
when lockwired
they CAN NOT !!! come undone
see the difference ???

Loctite come loose? I have seen it used on caliper bolts for years and never seen a failure...

If it's threaded into alloy, i would run at 3/4 std torque spec

The torque setting is for the fastener to reach it's correct yield to do it's job so torque the bolts to what ever the Ford manual says and yes lock wire them as the heat from the brakes can create havoc with Loctite

The Alloy hubs and Bells come from GRP4 Fab along with bolts. No torque numbers for the bolt. I'll do what's been suggested here.

I did my Gartrac ones up to what ever the Ford manual said
