daily driver Mk1 coupe in Melbourne ..

Hi all ..

just thought someone here may be interested in a Mk1 coupe currently on carsales. no, it's not mine but is in my suburb so I went and checked it out. as you fellas know - it's not everyday you find one local.

it's a 73 so early floorpan angled rear shocks but interestingly has some features of the later Mk1s .. reverse lights, high back buckets and general trim. anyway it was this blokes daily drive till not too long ago. still registered.

the bad? no surprise - rust. a pillars, firewall, of course then the front floors, a spot on the roof/rain gutters, lower c pillar/rear plenum. I didn't go any further but I'm guessing the sills too behind the trims. I didn't check the boot floor.

in short it needs a resto. but I think worth saving or storing away for another day. not at that price but the owner seemed like a nice bloke and quite reasonable. if you're interested and can get to Melbourne's northern suburbs, give him a call.
