40 DCOE jetting

hi there,.

I have a low compression (8:1) kent 1600 with a single 40 DCOE weber. It runs brilliantly and is set up as follows

65 starter, 35 pump, 45F9 idle, 40ex, 200 air, 130 main, 32 choke

I now have a high compression kent 1600 from a 1975 ghia. CR is 9:1 and it has a 234 camshaft. Can someone please tell me what changes will need to be made to my DCOE?

Hi,

change the main jet to 150, the idle jet to 50F9 or 50F8.
What emulsion tube are you using?
For this setup I would suggest a F2 or F3 but you probably will get away with a F11 (more common).
