38/38 weber

How would a( i think) 38/38 weber go on a 1600 x flow. I realy couldn't be bothered with side draughts again.
Just thinking out side my box.....

They work well I fitted one to a job earlier this year and did a back to back on the dyno. Engine was 1700cc with a Kent cams 234 cam, peak torque remained the same due to the manifold however torque lower down and driveability was better as was HP.

Couple of things when fitting though. On the xflow the mixture screw ends up against the rocker cover, the manifold needs to be ground to clear the synchronizer linkage, the fuel line inlet needs to be moved to the other side and the choke cable comes in from the front so a longer cable is needed.

I have a new 38/38 on the shelf.
