1975 Mk1 Escort. Granny spec.

75' escort 1.3ltr. Car is 2 owner.
Manual. 180,000km. Currently motor RS but can have reco'd
Good brown interior. Minimal rust(been treated). New radiator, new standard rack, shocks, and nolothane bushes. Paint fair, but body quite straight(except both guards have dints at front). 12" rims with good tread. Granny front sun visor.
Passed RWC 2 weeks before motor died. Still has original plates and 1months rego.
Basically a stock granny spec. Im chasing $2700 as is, or 3200 with rebuilt(matching no.) engine. I'll even throw in the granny blankets and pillows on the parcel shelf.

or as is $6000 with parts. Owes more than im asking.
Parts i have collected...6point OMP cage, pedal box, quick rack, new GAZ rear shocks, plus R31 skyline 28 spline LSD(4x114.3)

Its not that i dont want the Escort, but im running out of time and space before the Rockhampton Sprints (plus other events). And having many EVO's before, i grabbed a tidy EVO to have some fun with. I'll have the speed just not the tail out grin i would have with the Escort, but then it would have been next year before the Escort seen the track.
I sold my trailer and now have 2 on order to build. hence the no time or space for 4 cars and 2 trailers...the wife is nagging me for more room.

I can also help sought something out with bringing down to Brisbane.

Hi Darren, I can only go so far with the mods to dad's car. The way you saw it was about its limit. Seeing as it is an original rallypack and it has never been in an accident I can't hack into it to perform the mods i'd like to. I might be able to convince him to drive again, but he won't push it as hard as what I do. He hasn't driven it since we did the seat, suspension and brake upgrades so I might be able to convince him to take it for one last spin.

Our other house just sold (settled) today so I now have the $$ to build the long-awaited shed to put everything in. Until that's finished, the Escort will just sit in the garage. The bonus is that it comes with a couple of the bits that I'd have to buy anyway so there's a bit of a start.

I think I'll build it with improved production in mind.
