Bilstein stut tie rods

Postby jpayne » Sun Sep 21, 2014 9:23 pm

Guys,
What Tie rod ends do I need for Bilstein steering arms. Is there likely to be a taper difference between different bolt on steering arms as I cannot guarantee the arms I have are Capri?
I believe I have mk2 Rack?

Cheers JP

Yep. metric thread, imperial taper. The only bolt-on steering arms I know of are the Capri (also used on Mk2 RS) and standard Mk1 struts.

I got mine from SMCKA

Only use genuine 'green' Ford tie rod ends from the likes of Gartrac or Group 4 etc as they are a lot better quality and literally do not wear out unlike the copies
