mk 1 twincam prices?

Postby tim » Tue Oct 09, 2012 9:13 pm

hi all
Im hearing that twin cam prices are all over the place at the moment. can i please get an indication what they are worth for a good / bad one as an indication. also what would a bda engine (stock) be worth too? Thinking of selling one but not desptate to give it away, or having it sit on a forsale site for 6months
Thks

BDA engines are a dime a dozen, but I'll give you $500 to take it off your hands
On a more serious note, there have been a few genuine Mk1 Twin Cam's that have sold for around the $40K mark.
I have also seen replica's advertised for around half that.
Cheers

There are generally a few BDA's engines advertised on here:

http://www.my105.com/

As for TC prices, recently a couple of restored models where advertised at $35-38K, with another requiring full resto in parts at about $15K...

Cheers, Michael.
