Khanacross on the Gold Coast this weekend 9 November

2nd event of our own Spring Racing Carnival, this event is the "Rob Bell Memorial Khanacross" after Rob Bell one of our past Club Presidents that passed away this year.

Held on private property at 43 Stewarts Rd Guanaba, this will be a bit more low key than last months as some of the rally regulars will be at the Jimna Rally.

Should still be a few Escorts coming out to play, details and directions will be on the Gold Coast Tweed Motorsporting Club Inc web site in the next day.

Was Rob Bell the guy who had the German RS at one stage (read many years ago when I still lived on the Gold Coast)

In short no.

Rob did run a MK2 EScort back in the early PRC days. He then ran a TF/TE Cortina rally car, a HQ RAce car and later an EA/EB Saloon race car.
