Sean,

What is the other project? And leaving the RS aside for a moment, what is it exactly that you would like to do with whatever car you have? And what is your overall budget?

I'm happy to offer some advice but need to know those things first.

....ok this is what i have decided to do, and i am not fussed which way it goes.

try to sell it for 15k and if it sells for what i want, then i go for my other project car (which is 99% done except cosmetic things that i want)

if it doesnt sell then i spend more $$$ on it and do more stuff to it, oh i dunno maybe an even hotter motor and take the interior back to original

As you all know I did decide to keep it and have been enjoying it (even though my bloody window winder mechanism decided to kark itself and I am still yet to find the parts to fix it grrr) but besides that its still a very cool car...I seriously have never had so many peoples in the streets and carparks etc coming up saying

"Love the car, I used to have one of them when I was younger"

Its a good feeling. I even had a guy come running down to me once when I was at a red light, he was a few cars back haha

The main purpose for this post is, I still get the pressure from the dark side to buy something newer, something I don't have to tinker with all the time, something more suitable for day to day travel and something she can use too...you guessed it, the dark side is the better half.
