Ok Guys, whoever is out there.
Whats the consensus on which and what type of dry sump for a track only Mk1 escort turbo YB.
Mid range price as Im not racing for sheep stations.
Ill probably go for a openable tank located somewhere near he passenger footwell. Whos pump, whos sump and whos tank?

Couldn't find the tumbleweed icon........

Well for what it is worth I use a Weavers Brothers Pump, Peterson 2 Gal tank and a modified standard sump (David Hunter-UK). Never had an issue with the setup.

Some people on here do not like the spur gear pumps but prefer the georotor style that apparently produce a better vacuum.

I am currently looking into replacing the sump as I am starting to get pin holes in it. I think the welded in baffle/windage plate is pulling out the welds. Fed up with resealing it so I think I will go Pace/Titan cast aluminium. Anybody got one for sale?

Can't beat a Peterson tank but I'd definitely use a USA pump over a pommie pump as well but I wouldn't use a spur gear pump like a Weaver but instead a Peterson or a Pauter pump
