Escortians, I am pleased to announce that I now have the very first samples here for the new reproduction Steel MK1 Escort Guards. As some of you would be aware this process of tooling and dies has been going on now for almost 2 years thanks to John Fohan in Ireland. The result is tremendous and I believe they are even better than the originals made in the 70s.. They not only look great but they are also a perfect fit on the bodyshell. I hope to have the stock here in February and in a few days time I should have confirmed prices once I get the shipping costs. I am the only Australian agent for these guards so be careful about other people taking your cash for something they can't and won't be supplying. The first batch will be RS2000, Twin Cam and Mexico Guards with the flared lip. It will be on a first in best dressed system so register your interest early. No more hunting, cutting out rust, panel beating out old bog, the answer is here. Cheers Rob

Hi Gary, It looks like the final landed price for the Mk1 RS2000, Mexico, Twin Guards will be $440 each. Unfortunately stock won't arrive until February. Cheers Rob

Hi MK1, yes I agree, if it's the standard one that your after. Unfortunately the first pressings are for the Twin Cam Guards only due to a factory mixup. The Standard Guards will be available later on but I can't give a date yet. They will be cheaper given there is less work involved. Cheers

198 Pounds each. roughly $400 each plus freight here, GST and Duty. I got a quote from them for shipping 2 Guards 300 Pounds which equates to approx $600. Total for 2 Guards to Australia $800 + $600 Freight Total $1400 plus GST and Duty. $440 each pretty cheap eh?
