12" Minilites

Posted: Sun Nov 28, 2010 12:23 pmAs far as I know they are an Aus version which is an alloy centre welded to a steel rim (don't know how they did this), and they weight 100KG each!!! Pic attached is a 13", which looks similar to ebay ones

Posted: Sun Nov 28, 2010 10:15 pmThey look similar, we had a set like that on a V6 Capri many years ago, you could hardly tell as there was a lot more alloy than steel on them.
What got me on the ebay ones was the location of the wheel nut holes, look how far out into the spokes they are compared to the ones in your pic. I once almost fell for a set at the wreckers until I realised they were only 12's
