Don't know what you've been smoking tonight buddy but TC's old RS2000 is alive and well down here in Victoria and is far from as you describe it.

It also checks out against the Ford list of the 25 and all the coversion stuff done here - i have been over and under it with a magnifying glass!

Maybe TC had another one, because there was another Vista car here in Vic some years back which was a private import and as rusty as you say. Last i heard that car ended up at a well known Vic Escort shop.

the orange rs mk1 with the sunroof is a genuine car, imported into australia this year.you might want to do your homework a little bit more before you comment,as you are only letting yourself down. by the way the owner doesnt smoke.

The Orange RS pictured here with the sun roof and English plates is a recent import and by the way a very nice example.
Tom Chaplins ex- RS2000 is one of the 25 imported and now in Victoria.
The other orange one mentioned was the ex John Hodder car from Newcastle. I'm not 100% sure of it's current condition or exact history and was only mentioned as I thought it was the one that Steve was referring to as owned by Tom.
I believe we have a case of forum missunderstanding here.

Yes Tom Chaplins old car is one of the 25, is complete, in storage and in Victoria.

And the ex-John Hodder car is one of the 25, is complete, gets used regularly and also in Victoria.

And yes, from the photos i have seen and what i have heard that newly imported RS2 in NSW is a very nice car - confirmed by AVO club UK.
