1980 RS2000 4door
Posted: Fri Sep 05, 2008 6:37 pmFor sale is my beloved Sno White 1980 RS2000 4door. Car was fully restored 7 years ago and I have owned it for just over 4 years. During those 4 years it has averaged 2000kms per year and is never driven in the wet. Body is in very good condition with no rust, however some of the paint is flaking off the nose cone. The chassis, floor pan and also the firewall are perfect with no rust. Fish oil was pumped throughout the chassis rails when restored and still drips out today on occassion. Also she is always stored in a shed.
I paid $7000 for the car and have then spent $21000 on parts alone to improve it. All work has been carried out by Tony at ERR and also alittle completed by Rolly at Racetune. The tune was completed only a few hours ago at a cost of $700 to me to get her to run silky smooth for the sale.

Dyno'd at 125.7rwhp at a lowly 5700rpm. RL32 powerband should be 1000rpm higher and as such this engine should produce close to 135+rwhp with quad throttle bodies. This is a quick car.

3.54:1 LSD (rebuilt 2006 / 4000kms old)

Interior:
Retrimmed in Non original material. Excellent condition.
Missing the ash tray.
Spare Parts:
Full Ford Escort Ghia Aircon. (Removed from car in late 2004. It was working)
5 x Escort Globe volante rims (Very good condition)
2 x Pinto Cylinder Heads
Car is located in Rockingham WA.
