Urgent........ 13 x 10 wheels

G'day all.

I am after a pair of 13 x 10 wheels. 3 piece would be ideal but will consider anything even wide steel rims. Willing to pay reasonable money, but not over the top.

Thanks for the link, I have been keeping an eye on these, spoke to the bloke on the weekend. I would be in it but for the freight cost with the tyres fitted. I also expect the price to go mad in the last few minutes of the auction

Wayne,

I have a couple of choices for you but they are for loan only - not for sale. If you're stuck I have a set of 13 x 10" Rebels and I also have two 13 x 9 1/4" magnesium Minilites, both 4 x 108 stud pattern.

You're welcome to use them until you can get a couple of wheels for yourself if that helps.

Much appreciated, if I dont come up with anything in the next 10 days I may take you up on the rebels. The minlites would slow me down as I would be scared of breaking them.

I have been running F3 fronts on the 7 but have a couple of F3 rears to try so its really only an experiment to see if I can find a few more tenths around the hill before I buy a bunch of horse power.

Wayne are these the Kuhmo F3 tyre? I've got them on the rear now. Not much good really. Take about 2 laps to come up to temp and then still aren't anywhere near as good as the dunlops.

Glen, yep Kuhmo F3, Thanks, you have just saved me some $$$. If they take that long to come up to temp on your car then there is no hope of getting any heat in them on mine at Mt Cotton.

Yes I know the Avons are best but at $400 each they are out of my budget at the moment.

Any comments on the Formula Ford Avons ?. I tried some at the track, they seemed hopeless, however I was told that they are very pressure sensitive, at the correct pressure they work well ???

Wayne the radial dunlops are a bit cheaper than Avons and last ages. I've had them on for 2 years.

I havent tried the F/F Avons but wouldn't they be to skinny anyway? 2 dunlops cost me about $730.
