MK1 in FF&R Magazine

Has anyone else seen the black MK1 in fast fours mag? Looks pretty good, would have cost at least $30k to build i'de reckon?

The red one is owned by a very nice man called Jamie Augustine who
works for Motec here in Melbourne

I believe the Cossie is being replaced by an SR 20 at the moment

This would would be one hell of a motor for someone if you had the
$8000.00 odd worth of Motec to make it all work

I dont like to be picky, but...
I dont see a three inch 'pump' in the rear gaurds bubbles add 2 inches per side and you see that! The sliding sideways photo to me looks like a standard Mk1 with twin cam arches, which may be 1.5 inches larger diameter but not width. And there would be many others out ther with a better 'breeding'. The mag is out of touch with old school cars to be able to make the claim.
Regardless, nice looking Mk1 good to see another one and particularily like the opening photo of it driving itself.

I dont really like Fast fours and Rotaries! as I'm a picky bitch.

I really don't get these guys who try & turn their 30 year old Escort into a WRX, R32 etc, sorry but 2007 wheels look bloody ridiculous on classic fords.... if you want a Jap car go & buy one.
