Escort mk2 2lr ghia windscreen washer wiring diagram

Hi everyone just trying to sort out my sons car with what should be an easy fix but, the colours on the washer do not match or come anywhere near to what is represented in the Gregorys manual. Can anyone help as the mechanic wont sign off on the roadworthy until he has seen it running.

If you mean the pump washer, mine has light green with a light blue stripe (front of connector) and grey with a black stripe (back). Ford changed the wiring at some point (late 79 I think), so even this may not be correct for yours.

Yep thats as mine but the diagram I have shows black and a brown and yellow chasing back to the washer push switch is very difficult.
