We thought that may have been the case but Jowett's car didn't have flares so dismissed it.
Yep it had floor mount pedals as well which would now be illegal. Very impressive car though.
Hopefully it is given a new lease on life soon...

The only thing impressive were the times Gerry did in it as it wasn't real flash if you knew it's background as it didn't have much poke Bo seam welding and very basic suspension and brakes.
Bob pulled the flares off as he didn't like them

Its original quaife 4 speed gearbox is still going OK in my mk1.
