so these shells would only be good for non registered race/rally cars?

Just had a look at this website in the US which do (among others) select Mustang shells. It mentions there about paying licencing fees to Ford, can't expect it to be any different for a british Ford. $15500 US for a shell that you still have to add guards, bonnet and all the running gear to. Cuts down on panel prep and repairs though.



If you can do it for a reasonable amount then go for it. Unlike a previous poster, I think this will increase the cost of a good used shell because I don't think you'll be able to supply a new shell for less than $10k

Thanks for the feedback so far guys. This is exactly what we need. John wont proceed with anything until he has a total comittment from Ireland and UK of 300 shells. I would expect from talking to him that they wouldn't be any more than $10,000 per shell (Aussie).

if i ordered a brand new blank bodyshell
could i stamp any chassis no on it &
legaly do so ??

for maybe a batch of new twin cams
to start flooding the market (ebay)etc
