What rules do they run under - Sports Sedan?????

They are classed as 3D sports sedans with there own set of rules.
In the interest of parity you put in submissions to have what ever you want.
The Datsun 1600 runs an SR20, Jim has alloy heads, the Escorts run type 9's six link rear end alloy TCA's and have a minium weight of 700kg and the list goes on. Need a lot of money to play with these guys.

Id prefer to say its the class between the shortfalls on group N and "out of control" sports sedans.......very popular to watch, class.
Anyone catch it last weekend on the box ?

Yes. Rog, certainly good to watch. Though I wish the Escort was a bit faster!!

I see no reason to go YB unless they let the alloy block in.
Whilst the 1978 build sheet is an injected engine 32 years of progress will see a webered BDG surpass that figure at how much lighter than a YB? around 30kgs
At 2 litres the BD is the better package.
Bit of talent doesn't go astray either, P4
