Posted: Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:16 pmHave just spoken to Danny and it sounds like a wild ride. Even though people tell you to mow them down its hard to stop your natural instinct to swerve. He got off into the marbles then did a Dick Johnson through the trees on the side of the road. Car & trailer didn't sepate but between them became a greenies worst enemy 
Both cars are basically right offs. He's continuing on to Melbourne and will probably buy a new ute down there to come back in. As for the Esky, yes it's insured so it will be trailered back and the rebuilding process will start.
He asked me to mention that if anyone has a spare MK2 2dr shell to let him know.

Spoke to him and he and his mum will probably feel a little sore tomorrow but from the sounds of it and as Nev has said it was a wild ride.
Last time I hit one of those stupid roos. I was not going to brake or swerve just hang on and keep it straight. car trailer sorts them out
