mk2 grilles
Posted: Thu Aug 20, 2009 9:59 pmHi guys, I have 2 differnnt mkII grilles. one all black with the ford oval, and the other with a silver line around the outside with FORD in the center, which models were they off? any ideas, thanks Ted
Over here the not-L models (GL, Ghia) had grilles with the silver stripe.
L-models but also the flatfront RS's had the all black grilles.
FORD-lettering grilles were used from 1975-1977; Ford oval ones from 1977-1980.
