a flying visit
Posted: Wed Jan 21, 2009 11:04 pmMy partner and I have decided after over 2 years away in the dark cold dirty little city on the Thames that a summer holiday home to Australia was in order.
As it turns out the old man hasn’t killed the escort so I’m off to Winton on Friday the 7th of February for a private practice day while I’m there. And gee wiz do I need it. I haven’t driven anything more serious that a 3 cylinder Vauxhall corsa since may 20 2007!
As we are not aligned in business hours and phoning winton is impossible, does anyone know what a winton private practice day entails. I believe I need a cams club or AASA club licence. Anyone know what the other cars might be, being the start of the season am I going to be getting in the way of supercars and nations cup cars etc, will i be sharing time with bikes and carts? Anyone have any experience with a winto private practice day.
Anyhoo, back to preparing to come home... How much hand luggage can i carry full of parts?
