Matt,
There is a very similar car (using a 6 cylinder Falcon Engine)running in Northern NSW. It was until recently used extremely effectively by a guy named Gary Ford. He sold it last year to a bloke from Casino called Angelo Gava. I should be able to contact him and see if he knows the history of the car.

Mark Walsh.. for the low sum of $5000!!!

but that was 1987..
Also the rims were genuine group C 13 x 8's off Bo Setons Capri!!!

Matt, just spoke to Angelo Gava(the wonders of "White Pages" on the internet!!!!) He is going to contact Gary Ford (previous owner) and get all of the info about who built the car and when etc. He was not certain, but thought the car originally came from around Newcastle. Angelo seems very keen to help, though I suspect, if it is the car you are looking for, he may not be too keen to part with it as he has only just bought it himself.

Matt, looks like a dead end. This car was built by a guy in Morriset called Ray Bromley. As Sports Sedans have become an official Historic category recently, there is going to be lot more interest in the whereabouts of all of these cars. I will see if I can find out if there is a Historic Sport Sedan Assoc in NSW yet or not
Matt, try contacting some of these.

Matt,
Good news, I have just spoken to Mark Walsh (Victorian Speedway Driver) and he is NOT the man who bought your Dads car. so there is still a chance that it may be in 1 piece. Oh well, keep looking!
I have just sent an email to the Club that runs the Hillclimbs in the ACT to see if anyone remembers either Mark Walsh or the car.

The only one that I can think of is Graham Syphers. his looks a bit like the one u are tying to find. He has been around hillclimbs longer than me and he might know something about your old one. I don't have his number unfortunately.
