RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

I noticed yesterday that parts of QLD had been hit pretty badly by a big storm and as most of the people on here reside up that way, i was just wondering how everyone is?

Hope you all got through it without any major damage or dramas.

Hi Glenn, Mainly Northside ( Caboolture, The gap and surrounding suburbs) copped a pounding. Belly me and Datto watched the storm come through at Ettamogah pub on the sunshine coast on the way back from Noosa and it was a pretty good light show. Weird coming over a hill and watching day turn to night in a split second.

Apart from a soggy front yard all good on the east side of Brissie. Everyone else ok

As I left early I had the pleasure of driving through that storm Mark

At one point I hit so much standing water it sprayed off the van, got behind the front rego plate on the Escort and almost ripped it clean off, it was hanging bent and twisted on 1 screw, it was a wild drive home.

Tried to ring you while I was on the way but your phone was off

You didn't ring me or are you still pissed I parked with the open wheelers

I rang Mark as I thought he may be close behind, he packed up ealy too, as for you and yer single seater mates, I was quite happy you parked there, as we didn't have to put up with your farts all weekend

Good to hear you guys are ok. Would hate to think that some of the driving force behind RSMotorsport and "Norman nights" might get washed away into the pacific or squashed under a palm tree!

Is there any possibility that it was Danny's farts that started the storm?

TECHNICALLY POSSIBLE!!!!!

All ok on the southside of town. Was watching the radar on the BOM website and it split and went either side of us. Was thinking of the guy's in Noosa and the trip home. It's no fun driving through a storm towing a car trailer.

I wonder if I would be lonely (and wet a lot!) up in the far North ??

Yeah there is the heat to think of. I will be askibg the potential to move firther South when I get my next interview in the morning, but dont want to put em off. I can always move about once I get over and settled after a year or so??
