Im thinking of buying an engine from england.
Whats required and who do I talk to, to import from England?
What sort of costs am I looking at?

if anyone has had prior expirience doing this please share.

Air freight is about US$10/KG, plus import fees and duties. Make sur ethe engine is real clean or quarantine will drive you nuts.

Get in contact with a local freight / customs agent for a quote.

Or wait a few months and ask me! I bet there is a big list though!!

Sounds expensive importing england.

So you reckon its worth me bringing as many spares as possible then?? I have a spare Pinto, Atlas, English, 2000e box, T5 box, all sorts really.

(And yes Nev, I still have the Holbay!)


I also have some contacts in Northland NZ for bits, thats a bit closer?
