HELP PLEASE! MK1 Brake conversion

Hoping someone can help me with my "70" mk1 2 door's brakes!
I have fitted disc brakes, steering, suspension & 2ltr pinto/4speed out of a 1980 model mk2. My problem is that my mk1 was originally a 1100 drum brake poverty pack, which was not fitted with a booster. It has the old master cylinder (rounder shape resevoir with spacer) fitted to the firewall. The mk2 booster does not seem to line up on the mk1. I took everything including all of the brake lines, booster, pedal box, diff (complete with drums etc) from the mk2.
So wondering what are my best options to hook up my brakes using the parts that i have? I realise the differences with the imperial/metric hoses, but how can I make this all work, do I need the booster?, can I make a hybrid of mk1/mk2 parts, will the mk1 master cylinder operate the mk2 discs without a booster? etc. Any help will be much appreciated,:rolleyes:

Brakes will be very heavy without a booster.

Mk1 booster assm and master is what you need.

It'd be worth fitting Mk2 rear brakes as well.

I just installed every thing from a 1979 2litre Mk2 into a 1974 1300 Mk1. It all fitted OK but it that was about 12 years ago so my memory isn't real good as to what problems I stuck, but from memory I had to use the Mk1 pedal box and used the Mk2 pedals.

You should be able to use the Mk2's engine bay as a template for the holes, as all the panels should be the same.
