Mk 1 Weight

I am building a Mk1 escort and need to know what the heavyest Mk1 was available in Aus so I can then work out what motor I can go with. The RTA one know of the 1300, at 740kg does not give me much options. What about a RS2000, Has anyone been down this path?

This has the details of the UK Mk1s.

Mk1 RS2000 is listed at 1995lbs which rounds up to 905kg.
