New to RS Motorsport Forum

Hello.....

I'm new to RS Motorsport forum. My name is Chris (33 year old teacher), I currently own a moded 205GTI and in the next year I'm looking to quench a childhood dream and own a hot Mk1 Escort.

I'm loving that there is actually an Australian forum dedicated to a European Ford and its also a forum that isn't populated with, well hopefully you get what I'm saying.

My plan at this stage is too get all the parts together and then track down a decent shell and fit it all out. Thankfully it will be a weekender and not a daily drive. I've got a hot (moded, not pinched) motor coming for my 205 soon but I'm getting a bit fed up with my Peugeots moods (I didn't say lack of reliablity, trust me, Peugeots have moods), if you've owned one, you'll know what I'm talking about.... hahaha.

Either ways, I'm fairly forum savvy so ill search as much as I can before asking any questions. I found the Puma racing website pretty informative before I found this forum.

I have both a Mk1 and a Mk2 and somehow the Mk1 is just more fun to drive, so good choice.
