Have been missing my old TC (now racing in Nc, Vic) pretty much 3 months after I sold it, but the pain of paying wasted money to an Escort "specialist" kept me very shy of getting back into Escorts & cars in general. So after a 12 year lay off, played on 2 wheels, toyed with the idea of everything from modding a Saab 9-3 (I kind of fell in love with the Swedes after modding my wifes Aero, ('I had to use turbo today',or the bilsteins saved me on the Bolte on ramp' are some quotes I have heard from her)" to an XE Falc with a 4.1 & throttle bodies BUT I saw the light & returned to the fold.

I have bought a black MK1 2 door fitted with a pinto, 4 speed, round headlight front GT dash and not much else so now the fun beings. Collecting parts, doing jobs, working out the class etc etc.

First job is I need to get rid of the STUPID microwave door someone has cut into the roof. Where can I get a MK1 roof from in Melbourne?

I cant wait to get into all of this and every time I look on this forum I get more excited.
