Posted: Thu Jun 05, 2008 10:15 pmI always thought that connection on the carb was the fuel bowl vent (went to the carbon cannistor) but looking at the casting in the top cover it looks like it goes deep inside the carby, probably to pick up fuel from the main jet wells, just guessing of course but it needs fuel from somewhere...

Posted: Thu Jun 05, 2008 11:31 pmStill haven't tried to run it yet, getting closer. I've just finished off putting the cooling system together and all the various fuel lines to the tank.
Got to go over the plugs, timing etc. now.
Can you believe that a 75cm length of brake booster vacuum hose is holding me up!! Everywhere I go they either give me the wrong type or they're out!
