What starter motor are people using when using a cosowrth 2wd sump with standard bellhousing?

I've been running a standard escort starter motor with the side ground down to clear the ribs on the allow sump however i'm sure there is a better option?

Anything smaller or is an expensive reduction starter the way to go?

Thanks, Shaun.

Went through this a couple of weeks back. Get a gear reduction job custom built, about 350 bucks + freight. Absolutely worth it.

Thanks guys,

Just had a look at the website through castlemaine auto. Prices don't seem too bad.

Will get one on order.

Thanks, Shaun.
