Hi Steve,
I'm rebuilding a standard cosworth bottom end to replace my 'pinto' based bottom end on my currently supercharged engine.
The collection of bottom end bits I have are;
STD 205 block,
Cosworth crank,
Cosworth rods with pistons,
2wd sump with 4wd pickup and squirters (need to modify or get 2wd)
Steel pinto sized flywheel to suit cosworth crank.
All appear in good condition and had STD sized bearings fitted. The engine currently runs an old microtech ecu (screwdriver adj!) via Sierra injection and rx7 injectors. I have an EMS dualsport to go on to better control things as currently I am using vacuum retard. I have a decent turbo manifold which will replace the supercharger in the future.
The engine is sohc and will remain that way for now.
It has been a budget exercise so far just want to be able to screw the bottom end together that will hold up to mild boost for now however hopefully do for future upgrades.
Thanks, Shaun.
