RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Got two 2L blocks with oil pumps - both had a gasket between oil pump body & u/side of block.

I purchased a bottom end gasket kit & it doesn't have this gasket.
Supplier says there is no such gasket in kits (no's 850 or 860)
Anyone shed any light on this?

Also kit has a nylon washer/spacer od 22, id 14.5 & 2mm thick. What's that for?

i can not find any faults with the
loctite master gasket range
its very similar to HYLOMAR products used by rolls royce
i have doubts about many other imitation products
like wurth , permaseal , stag , etc & the rest of the imitators
i have never had a failure with loctite products
used in corect aplication
in my books its worth paying a few extra $$
ps
vegemite , strawberry jam or silicone
might ?? work at a pinch

I'm a fan of loctite too, but don't like the idea of sealants under oil pump.
Is it true that gasket for here is no longer supplied ? - old ones don't look home made - which is what I'll do if can't get one

If the pump has aluminium body then you don't use a gasket and is glued with sealant to the block but if you're using a cast iron pump you must use a gasket that is usually supplied with the pump as I've never seen them in any gasket set and led me to having a batch specially made
