Hey guys,
Can someone tell me if there are any differences in the casting numbers on the non-injection pinto 2.0 heads? For example is there less or more meat on a lower or higher number, core shifting etc...? About to start a new head and have a few options to choose from.
Some say yes others say no.... experiences?
thanks, Shaun
(thanks Roger)

No ones ever said anything but just keep porting till it sounds thin and then start tapping with something as it's only practice

Well........
There's number[s] all over these bloody things, ....which needs "jigsawing together".......perhaps one day.
Straight away you will see the problem area......................
Which led me to making these............

As for which casting.............
It would seem as the "Tee" numbers went up, the castings or more correctly...... the core shift got worse.
Looks like T13 to me.
Note head bolt hole positions in above.

The T numbers were the ones I was particularly interested in. I have Different numbers ranging from a T2 to a T19? (from memory)
I noticed that the new alloy head (burtons?) is based on a T6?
I like the idea of the templates, I used to have some but have since lost them in a move.
Might have to make some more up....
Have also been looking at some 'special' cast iron electrodes for welding which dont require the head to be heated and cooled so I might give them a go.
