where's the engine number?
Posted: Fri Jun 29, 2007 2:24 pman easy one i'm sure..just wondering where the engine number is located on a pinto. if it makes any difference, it's a 205 block.

i noticed the vin in one of those pics ended with an R. i was speaking on the australian ford forums this arvo about vins. it's common knowledge that a C means 6 cyl and a K means v8. but i'm trying to establish what the R means exactly...i'm guessing 4 cyl?
anyone able to confirm?
