i have a T 5 Block - any body know ? what this type is ? i have seen common T3 Blocks but
there are subtle diferences , i forget the tech diferences
there are many diferent castings produced in diferent parts of the world !
a bit like the diferent alternator bracket castings on a pinto
not to mention the heads , but thats another story i guess

The EB blocks were sought after because the density of the steel is greater than the blocks which were cast in Oz or by Masport - I think - in NZ. The wall thickness was slightly different too. Mine was taken out to 83 mm without any problems and supposedly the bore wore better
German EB heads were certainly better and could take much more die grinding in the ports and con chambers. With heaps of die grinding, works valves and a WR40 cam shaft they were good for 200+HP on a big bottom end.
