oil pickup gasket or not

Postby dek » Wed Jan 08, 2014 9:40 pm

I am just putting a different sump and pickup back on a motor which has been apart for a while and can not remember if there was a gasket between the pick up and the oil pump?

Can only speak about Pinto 2L, in which case there def is a gasket. Plus ensure you put it on the right way as the oil hole is offset to the bolt holes. I learnt this one the hard way.
