Hi guys im new to the forum and I am trying to chase up a Mk1 escort 2 door to build up, i will consider pretty much anything at the right price so long as it isnt just a completely rusted out wreck, does not need to be a complete car and things such as half started/modified projects are fine as it will be heavily modified and cut up anyway, Let me know what you guys have!

Hey mate,
In my opinion for the money being asked you won't find a better mk1 to start a project than Simon's.

Id have to agree, I even have my eye on it, but being interstate Ill be a few weeks. better get in and beat me to it.

Haha yeah checked out Simons shell on Saturday and it only took a couple of minutes to see it would be perfect for what I wanted! Thanks again Simon I am extremely happy with the the little Esky and cannot wait to get into building it up!!(even though I'm sure lots of people on here will not be too enthusiastic about the conversion I'm planning! haha :P)

Haha yeah I know it will probably handle like a bowl of porridge with a big heavy cast iron v8 in it but hey its all about having good old fashioned cheap(well relatively) fun! Will keep you all updated with build as it progresses

LS1's are all alloy unless they have the LSX block worth $15k
