Electrical Connection - Brake Proportioning Valve

Shouldn't there be two o rings in the valve body that prevent fluid getting to the middle where the switch is ?


It's a very long time since I had one apart, so could be wrong.

No that's got a hydraulic actuated brake light switch.

The warning light switch is mechanicalfrom the shape of the piston rod.

Went to 2 brake shops, 2 Nut & bolt shops & Pirtec today looking for a blanking plate or bolt to block it off. No luck from any of those (thread is too fine @ 1)

So I'll try the electrical switch from the spare parts bin and hope for the best.

If I've got to try something like the Willwood part I'd need to prepare new brake lines to marry up to the connection (& threads etc)
