Posted: Sun Jun 29, 2008 9:30 pmWent for a bit of a drive today and have picked the venue as Skinners Park (map ref N5) at Carbrook. Big car park, caters for cars with boat trailers so has plenty of parking for long loads, plenty of grass to run around on, play things for the kids and big shelters and wood BBQ's.
As David W suggests we will rotate venues to give people from different regions a chance to make it to at least one. So only thing left is a date. How about Sunday, 20th July. It does clash with the V8 Supertaxi's at QLD Raceway so could shift to the following weekend if necessary,
If we do that we'll cancel the BB&B dinner at the Norman for the 26th and move that onto August.
Attached map on how to get there. I'd suggest starting around 10am to get a good shelter close to a BBQ. Bring the wife, mistress etc, the kids and the car (if going) - all welcome!
