Hey,

This is my Mk2 coupe. The interior is a little crappy but over all I'm pretty happy with the car. It's got a pinto, RL32 cam, double valve springs, oversized s/s valves, lightened flywheel and crankshaft, shotpeen rods, hi-volume oil pump and type 9 5 speed.

Yeah I thought about gold wheels but I thought it would look too much like a wrx lol.

Hey Lizard, Great looking set of wheels. Car's great too. Get to work on the interior and she'll be even better.

Everyone asks me about my brakes. They are just standard brakes with cross drilled rotors. Then some people say thats impossible but that's what they are!!

ah havnt heard of that before. a bit of vynil paint and that would be pretty schmick i reckon.
hows the injection going? i'm in the same boat as you with the injection. did you resolve your injector issue? i think the magna ones are the way to go from what i've heard

Well I haven't had much time to do anything yet. I've just be reading the installation instructions for the Wolf. Trying to determine if I can do it myself or not.

I haven't solved the injector issue yet. Magna ones (0 280 150 775) are apparently a direct fit but they are only 196cc/min. Now I'm not sure weather this will be big enough or not but Steve (RS027) has a similar engine to me and he has 155-160hp at the fly and hit 99% on the injectors at 6200 revs in 3rd. I haven't dyno'd my engine yet so I don't know what sort of power I have but going by Steve the magna ones will be to small. The VT (0 280 155 777) are only 150cc/min but the VS (0 280 150 973) are 208cc/min which is better but I'm still unsure weather they will fit.

Just another little update.

Car is in at the moment getting wired and tuned. Went with the Magna 706 injectors.

And this arrived last week, cost $150 shipped which I thought was very good. Although I have no plans to use it at the moment I thought I would grab it anyway.

Well its been a while and the EFI install is complete. Ended up going with a sierra manifold and a Wolf 3D V4. Here is a couple of pics.




Next on the list is:

Roll the guards
Wheel alignment and balance
Replace white dash parts with black
New radiator (mines almost stuffed)
Thermo fan (the one on there atm isn't to good)
A decent wash, polish and vacuum!!

Also whlist I was driving it yesterday the throttle pulley broke. Where I have circled it.


Any suggestions on how to fix this?
