Thanks Steve. I'll admit the bumpers (as the rear is done as well) was my brothers idea. But I'm happy enough with them. It's a fairly 'modern' spec escort and am trying to make it a bit more period.

Hey Steve,
Checked out some images of the Judd escort, but the 2011 results have it listed as a BDA. Do you know of any links with specs?
Only Cosworth part on my car is breather blank off plate, mainly cause it's $$$. I have to run restrictor on the turbo, which will limit the power to between 360 - 400 hp.

Interesting analogy! It is hard to see the restrictor in front of the turbo, but the car will still have comfortably double the hp of most 'good' escorts. The restrictor also means the engine doesn't need to rev like an NA which saves $$$.

A short clip of the car on the dyno. NB. has 36 mm restrictor infront of turbo.

Quick update. Car is complete and has successfully completed a number of test days at Winton and Phillip Island.
Couple interior bits and pieces to still fit. Waiting on a carbon wing from Custom Carbon. Car also needs front spoiler as walks around a bit at high speed.
Really rapt with the car. My brother and some close family friends have built a ripper car for me.
Shot of Racepak dash - very happy and would recommend.

Thanks Gary.
No video from in the car yet, it would have been fun to watch the first couple of days, as we went out on 5 year old tyres and it was loose. To quote Harry Hogge from Days of Thunder "When the rear end's loose, the car's fast. Loose is fast, and on the edge of out of control." Except this was closer to past the edge of out of control! Great fun though!
Might have some stills - I'll check tonight.

Sorry guys all the photos are taken from pit lane that I have.
There is a couple of shots on this site:

Worth scrolling through the other shots as there were a few Escorts running.
Would recommend a day like that to everyone. $150 and can run all day on one of the best tracks in Australia. Need all day just to
start working that place out (very technical), I did anyway...

Sorry Gary have no video. We're running the car at a sprint day with passengers next weekend at a motorcycle track in Broadford north of Melbourne. I'll make sure I get some video then.
