Finished painting the Red, and the Blackouts around the doors.
I was going with a Black stripe down the side, now am waiting till the windows go in till i make that call.
Yesterday was a great day to paint on top of a sand dune.
Back to the way it was in 95'

Thanks for the offers, i will be in contact when i have the spare cash.
Looks like i am going to need another hood lining, mine shrunk and needs replacing anyway.
I am going with some new wind screen rubbers while i am at it.
Faced back and cut the paint with water rubbing compound, Some touch ups then polish and the paint will be finished.

I had to put some pic's up of it in full sunlight.
Just some polish on the doors to go.
Working on some vented front breaks and fit the anti dive and quick rack now.

It is a Capri rear spoiler Mr Douglas.
The door handles are staying chrome Avon, they match the volvo mirrors, i have yet to decide where I'm am going to put them yet. The doors look too nice without the indent where the standard mirrors are mounted.
I gotta make a hole around 30mm in diameter to fit the old volvo ones, i might be getting the hot rod type that mount on the window frame and hang down.
I was looking to have opening 1/4 windows fitted. but am yet to find any in South Africa.

Thanks Tim, it has felt like a long road this rebuild.
It drives nice with some extra camber on the front. The heavy steering from the quick rack bugs me a little.
The new accelerator cable to suit the twin carbs, has found a load more acceleration.
Just the hood lining to fit before i can register it again.
