Is this correct cap ?????????????????????

and as bruce pointed out to me once before the CORTINA are flat ??? and escort dished,................... right or wrong?

I agree with Bruce - always thought they were just alloy - not painted.

Roger, yes the cap you have looks to be the correct one from looking at the parts catalogue.

the previous owner did me a favour by polishing the outer rim! I'll try the paint/polish option and see how it goes.

What sort of nuts do you guys have on the wheels? I've got a set and found some nuts like the following at Autobarn. Said they fit a Mk2, and the nuts are ok, but the washer that comes with them doesn't fit in the recess in the wheel.

This is one I took a pic of at Small Ford Sunday. Kinda looks like there might be a tapered washer and a tapered nut too. Could that be right?
