wheel restoration

I had a set of early Globe Bathurst rims sandblasted recently.

I was wondering if anyone knows for sure the best way to then get them back to that bare metal look. I was thinking trying one of those nylon brushes in a drill or die grinder or one of those blue disks that look like a scourer?

Has anyone else been down this road?

Cheers

even if you spin them up on a lathe or wheel balancer etc
and do it with wet & dry and or scotch brite , polish etc
they never look the same as machine finished
ps
i did mine on an old axle on a lathe wet n dry etc
they look good but not perfect
if you after perfect take them to ray billeu engineering
