Theres an interesting article in ACM mag on how these guys are getting wheels made for their cars from UK mob.

I have delt with local mob and they are difficult to get on with, if u want something odd etc.

However these guys seem to love em..........

Hmm foods for thought, thanks guys.

I think for what I want to do with the wheels the Superlites should suffice, they seem a lot more common in Australia from my limited searching.

I had a set of supelites and quite frankly they should be named super heavy's. Weighted them up at nearly 9 and a bit kilo a rim.

If you can, invest a little more in either compomotive's or what I have now which are Panasports. Both look in my opinion better than superlites.

My wheels weigh 6.5 ish kilo's and Danny M's new ones are lighter again.

For the extra money that's the way I would go and have!

I frequent other forums.

I read allot about these [magnesium] wheels..........getting lighter over time eg erosion etc.

I think they end up throwing them away after awhile due to this

I know Dan doesn't like Performance superlites.

Does anyone know any Minilite dealers in Perth?

Or anyone in Perth with Minilites so I can see for myself how what the difference in weight is like? ... And then run off with their rims

I bashed one of my 14's into a bank and into a E30 BMW bending the BM's rack and the wheel was still straight as Gary Pitt's competing on them now
They are really good things
