Hi I'm looking at some king springs for MK1 capri struts. They'll be going into a MK1 escort with pinto.
The springs are 4cyl capri and V6 capri, both 30mm lower than standard.
Which one would suit the pinto escort better? The car will be used on the road but I don't mind compromising a little comfort for better handling.
Part numbers are KFFL12 and KFFL13. Thanks

Just put a set of 12's in my Mk1, with a cross flow though. All good.

Capri strut spring seats are about 20mm lower than the escort to start with so you might end up 50mm lower total. i'd go v6, but that may make it too stiff for your liking for road use.

Capri Struts, KF12 springs, 15x6 superlights, 195/55 tyres.

I had Pedders v6 lowering springs in it at first, but I think these are better with the crossflow.

So those are standard height 4cyl capri springs? I might just use my original ones and see how they go.
Surely they would support the weight of a pinto better than Mk1 1300 struts.
