CapriMk1 and Capri 2.8 Injection strut comparo.............

"Group 1 RS2000 Bilsteins.

These differ from Capri ones in the length of the strut body - Escort ones are shorter.

"H" in front of a Ford part number signifies an RS part by the way.

AB = Escort

76 = year of introduction

H76AB = RS Escort, introduced in 1976.

UK RS Parts are 909 series, German RS parts are 905 series. Parts are the same if last 4 digits are the same."

You might want to add the fact that we saw no differences between the 2 (alleged) sets of twin cam struts that I had compared to 2 sets of Capri struts (your set plus my new set). If there is any difference, it was not immediately obvious.

Although I have seen lots of part numbers for the various types of struts, nearly all I have seen have slight differences to the part numbers, especially the letters at the end.

What is the part number of the RX7 and what series is it. Also do you no the actual length difference.
