Front Inserts

Postby David W » Mon Jan 10, 2011 7:43 pm

This might be a dumb question - but if I want to change the front shocks (ie: inserts) do I need to take the strut out of the car or can I get away with just undoing the top nuts and possibly the sway bar?
There are people who make things happen, people who watch what happened and those who have no idea what happened - which one are you?

I think youd struggle doing with them in the car.
just undoing and doing up the gland nut would be hard enough, compressing the shock to make it fit etc under a fixed guard may be just to hard.
In saying that of course you can!

Blood sweat and tears

cheers,
